The Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp hosts the annual Intenstive international week as member of the METRIC Improvisation Network: five full days of workshops and masterclasses on improvisation.

Every partner institution invites student and teachers to explore, practice and learn together about the intriguing world of improvisation.

The programme features workshops in groups, masterclasses, discussion moments and concerts. This edition is combined with the international René Arons contest for improvisation with a final public concert and reception on Sunday evening.
